Parade And Party With Grand Central
Grand Central is proudly in its 27th year of sponsoring the Grand Central Floral Parade and extend an invitation to join this time honoured tradition with our Parade and Party day on Saturday 16 September.
Celebrations begin at 10am with Grand Central's lead float, leading more than 60 local business and community floats through the streets of Toowoomba. Join visitors and locals alike for this time-honoured tradition.
After the parade head down to Grand Central’s Parade After Party beginning at 12noon!
The afternoon of free family fun and entertainment will include:
- Stilt walkers and other circus performers
- Free face-painting and balloon artists
- Local dance groups, school choirs and live music from the band Maplewood.
Join these festivities outside at the base of the Grand Staircase and enjoy a family afternoon of entertainment and discover delicious food sampling and giveaways for all.
You can even grab lunch on us; with 1000 dining gift cards up for grabs on the day!
Come along and enjoy the beautiful in-centre decorations from hanging floral rings through to amazing hand-crafted decorations on shopfronts throughout the centre, and vote for your favourite itty bitty float.
The carnival continues in-centre until Monday 2 October, with circus workshops and shows at various times throughout the school holidays!
