Over the years, thousands of women and men have gathered to share in the sparkle of the Ladies Diamond Lunch. Together, we've raised more than $438,858, helping to fund lifesaving equipment, patient care programs, and hospital projects right here in our region. Together, we’ve transformed the sparkle of a luncheon into a legacy of care.
From its early days supported by Central Jewellers and Lannah Dunn Fine Jewellery, through to Hogans Family Jewellers, the Ladies Diamond Lunch has always been powered by generous sponsors and a community with heart.
A Legacy of Giving: What the Ladies Diamond Lunch Has Made Possible
2013–2019: Fundraising supported the Give Me 5 For Kids Appeal, helping sick kids at the Toowoomba Hospital. In 2017, LDL contributed to purchasing four vital paediatric monitoring machines, and in 2019 — with Hogans as naming sponsor — the event raised a record $19,093.
2020: Guests raised a record $36,188, supporting patients staying in our Clive Berghofer Toowoomba Hospital Accommodation Units.
2021: Over $46,000 was raised for our 100K in 100 Days campaign.
2022: The introduction of the Soirée alongside the Luncheon saw an incredible combined total of $87,697, funding improvements to create a calm and functional space for babies and families in the Toowoomba Hospital Neonatal Unit.
2023: Together, Luncheon and Soirée guests raised $53,742 in support of the Darling Downs Health Breast Care Nursing Service.
2024: The Ladies Diamond Lunch reached its highest total ever, raising $123,851 towards the new Regional Cancer Centre — a legacy that will impact generations to come.
As we look ahead to new chapters, the story of the Ladies Diamond Lunch evolves as we continue exploring fresh ways to bring our community together and make a lasting difference for healthcare in the Darling Downs.
