What is the RCC?
A purpose-built cancer care centre designed to meet the increasing demand for diagnosis, treatment, and support services for people across the Darling Downs and beyond. Why the RCC?
Because cancer rates are rising and our regional health service is already stretched. More than 90 people rely on Toowoomba’s cancer services every day, and that number continues to grow. Building the Regional Cancer Centre means fewer people travelling long distances for care, shorter wait times, and stronger support for patients and their loved ones — close to home, when it matters most.
