Why do I think we need a Sports Physiologist in the new Toowoomba Hospital Cancer Centre
We have all been touched by cancer. For me it was my Dad, he was an amazing Dad and I loved him so much it was hard to watch what cancer took from him. I was lucky I had my dad for a long long time, I know others are not so fortunate but it didn’t hurt any less. We nursed him through to the end and made every day count. I found supporting my dad through this process that he loved to feel like he was doing something positive, being proactive and trying to help himself get through this. In my opinion and experience this is going to be a positive thing and give our loved ones hope. Because when Cancer rears its ugly head , hope your mental health and community are very powerful tools.I’m trekking for a healthier future
Hi there! This year, I’m taking on Trek the Trail, a two-day, 75km hike to raise vital funds for the Toowoomba Hospital Foundation and support life-changing cancer care in our region.
Every step I take helps fund exercise physiology services at the Regional Cancer Centre, giving patients the support they need to stay strong through treatment and recovery. Cancer changes lives, but so does community – and together, we can make a real difference.
I’d love your support in helping me reach my fundraising goal. Every donation, big or small, will have a lasting impact. Let’s do this!
