I’m trekking for a healthier future
???? WHAT HAVE I DONE?!????
Apparently, I’ve signed up for Trek the Trail - a 75 km fundrasing walk along the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail in August.
That’s *not a typo*.
Seventy-five. Kilometres.
On foot.
On purpose.
Why, you ask?
Well, the Regional Cancer Centre needs support - and I figured if I can avoid blisters and snack shortages for a good cause, then so be it.
This trek is about more than sore legs and regretting my life choices around kilometre 58—it’s about helping to fund exercise physiology services at the Regional Cancer Centre. This will give patients the support they need to stay strong through treatment and recovery close to home.
