Apply for funding with Toowoomba Hospital Foundation
Funding Streams
Our four major funding streams are:
- Equipment, facilities enhancement, and supplies to promote better health outcomes for patients
- Education, training, professional development, and conference attendance (up to $2,000)
- Scholarships for Postgraduate Studies (up to $6,500)
- Toowoomba Hospital Foundation Pure Land Learning College Research Grants (up to $50,000)
Research Grants
Health research across the Darling Downs Health region is supported each year thanks to the generosity of Pure Land Learning College who donate an annual gift to help Darling Downs Health staff achieve their research projects.
The Toowoomba Hospital Foundation Pure Land Learning College Research Grants are overseen by our Research Grants Committee and awarded by our Board across two categories:
- Novice (up to the value of $20,000)
- General (up to the value of $50,000)
Applications for Round 2 of the Research Grants program are now open. Please apply before 16th August 2024.

Staff Car Parking at Toowoomba Hospital
There are multiple paid parking options available to staff wanting to park at the Toowoomba Hospital. It should be noted that spaces are limited, waitlists may apply, and priority will be given to shift workers.

Staff Wellness Initiative Applications
Darling Downs Health Staff are invited to submit a funding proposal for staff wellness initiatives in their hospital and health facility work area, unit, or department. Applications to this grant program are open year-round, to complete an application please fill out the online form.
