Perimenopause is a transition that every woman will go through, yet so many suffer in silence, uncertain of what’s happening to their bodies and where to turn for support. This event is about changing that.

Join us for an open and empowering conversation about perimenopause, featuring expert speakers who will break down the myths, offer practical advice, and help connect you with the support you deserve. With the help of Tie Up the Black Dog, this event is designed to create a safe space for women to feel valued, informed, and heard.

Our Speakers

Alison Brahe-Daddo – Public figure, author of Queen Menopause, and advocate for reframing menopause as a powerful new chapter in life. Through personal experiences and shared stories, Alison sheds light on the reality of menopause with honesty, warmth, and humour.

Dr. Ginni Mansberg – GP, TV presenter, and author of The M Word: How to Thrive in Menopause. With expertise in women’s health and hormones, Dr. Ginni provides evidence-based insights on managing perimenopause and thriving through this stage.

Bronwen Mowbray – Toowoomba local who has faced the challenges of perimenopause firsthand and is passionate about ensuring no woman feels alone in this journey.

All proceeds from this event support Darling Downs Health, helping to improve access to qualified care and vital health services for women across our region.

What you'll gain:
  • A better understanding of perimenopause and its impact on mental and physical health
  • Expert insights on managing symptoms and accessing the right support
  • A welcoming space to share, connect, and feel empowered
  • The chance to contribute to life-changing healthcare for women in our community

Join the conversation. Because every woman deserves to feel supported through this stage of life.
