Half Marathon!

I’m raising funds in support of the Regional Cancer Centre

Hello! Last year my lovely friend Laura asked me to run a 5km in Brisbane to raise money to support those impacted by breast cancer.   Not having ran since high school I didn’t think I would be able to manage it but I did and what I thought was going to be a short lived running experience turned 2024 into the year of running.  

This year, that love continues. Running has given me a sense of achievement and a way to relax and unwind. So I am completing the Brisbane Half Marathon on 1st June. This time raising money for the Regional Cancer Centre, by supporting me in my run you will be helping ensure patients diagnosed with cancer have a safe and comfortable space to receive treatment and care with Darling Downs Health.

The new Regional Cancer Centre aims to bring together the people, equipment, expertise, services and healing environments needed to treat hundreds of cancer patients in a dedicated stand-alone facility. 

Together we can help turn this vision into a reality and build the Regional Cancer Centre.
